IWAS 2011 World Games Host Announced

The International Wheelchair and Amputee Sport Federation (IWAS) announced today that the bid to host the IWAS World Games 2011 has been awarded to Sharjah, UAE.  The Games will take place from 1 to 10 December 2011, at the Althiqah Club for Handicapped and other venues in the city of Sharjah.

The closing date for entries to the IWAS World Junior Games 2011, Dubai is now only 6 days away.  The Games will have its opening ceremony on 17 April and conclude on 20 April.  A last minute surge in entries are expected by the Local Organising Committee.
